Big thanks to BoyteCreative for putting out an excellent film on the inspiration and dreams of our friends Philip & Chelsea Hansen at TypewriterBoneyard.  Philip & Chelsea designed the pendants and chandeliers that have caught many of your eyes as you’ve walked through our doors. We at Coffee & Tea Collective recently were awarded a grant from Manor House Quarterly (MHQ) to do a Community Collaboration Event.  Because of the generous donation from MHQ we have partnered with Radio Acres Farm to do herbal tea Planting Party in the next few months.  Keep posted on the event at coffeeandteacollective.com.  Continue to support MHQ in their goal to be awarded GOOD magazine’s ARTEVERYDAY grant. Greetings friends & supporters,   A quick update on the Coffee & Tea Collective’s, opening soon, Roastery/Tasting Room; we passed the inspections on all our below-grade plumbing today! That means we can pour concrete, seal the floor, and install our roaster.   We have also been busy collaborating with some great people around San Diego:   Our Organic Ethiopia Kaffa Forest beans was used in  a special cask of Ballast Point Sea Monster Stout.  It will soon be introduced at an upcoming release party to be announced.  Heads up! Because we are also planning to release, with Hess Brewing, a batch of Coffee-Oatmeal Stout.   Another collaboration we arranged was a Dark Chocolate bar with Eclipse Chocolat.  It is a 61% Cacao chocolate bar studded with our Fair-Trade Organic Peruvian beans and toasted walnuts.
